Although our Plum with Cinnamon coffee is a flavored blend, the roots of the coffee beverage itself run deep into history. The highlands of Ethiopia are considered the birthplace of coffee, where, according to legend, the shepherd Kaldi noticed the invigorating effect of red berries on his goats.

It was from Ethiopia that coffee beans began their journey around the world, first to Arabia, then to Europe and beyond. For a long time, coffee was considered a drink available only in Arab countries, until it spread across the continent in the 17th century, changing the cultural habits of millions.
