Origin of the Tea Base

The base for the aromatic “Apple Pie” blend is high-quality black tea, harvested from the fertile plantations of Sri Lanka (Ceylon). This region is renowned for its centuries-old tea traditions and ideal climatic conditions for growing tea with a rich flavor.

Historical Fact: Tea was first cultivated on a commercial scale in Ceylon in the mid-19th century. Interestingly, this was prompted by a coffee rust epidemic that destroyed coffee plantations, forcing farmers to switch to tea cultivation, which ultimately made Ceylon one of the world’s leading tea producers.

Ideal Brewing for “Apple Pie” Tea

To fully unleash the rich taste and warming aroma of “Apple Pie” tea, we recommend following these simple rules:

💧 Water: Use fresh, filtered water brought to a boil (95-100°C).
🥄 Quantity: For every 200 ml of water, use 1-2 teaspoons of tea.
⏳ Time: Steep for 3-5 minutes. For a richer flavor, you can extend the time up to 6 minutes.
