According to legend, the first tea bushes were brought here over 150 years ago from Fujian and adapted to local conditions, giving rise to the famous Tung-Ting Oolong.

  • 🌡️ Water temperature: 90-95°C.
  • ⚖️ Tea quantity: 5-7 grams per 100-150 ml of water.
  • "Awakening" rinse: Pour water over the tea and immediately drain (5-10 seconds). This helps to unfurl the leaves and prepare them for brewing.
  • ⏱️ Subsequent infusions:
    • First infusion: 15-20 seconds.
    • Second-third infusions: 20-30 seconds.
    • Fourth and beyond: increase brewing time by 5-10 seconds with each infusion.
  • 🔄 Number of infusions: High-quality Tung-Ting can withstand up to 7-10 infusions.
