Aroma and Taste of Ginseng Oolong Tea
When brewed, this oolong reveals a delightful bouquet. The aroma of the infusion is filled with notes of sweet ginseng root, intertwined with light floral and herbaceous undertones of oolong. The liquor takes on a bright, golden-amber color, transparent and oily. The taste is multifaceted: it begins with a pronounced yet soft sweetness of ginseng, which then transitions into a fresh, slightly tart oolong note. The aftertaste is long, enveloping, with a pleasant coolness and a persistent sweet nuance. Each steeping reveals new facets of this composition, offering caramel, honey, or barely perceptible fruity notes. This tea retains its vibrancy and depth through many infusions.
Where strength is born
The origins of Ginseng Oolong trace back to the misty mountains of Taiwan, where the ideal climate — abundant moisture, fertile soils, and frequent fogs — creates perfect conditions for tea bushes to thrive. On high-altitude plantations, delicate oolong leaves are harvested and then carefully coated in fine ginseng powder. Legend has it that the ginseng growing in these mountains embodies the spirit of the earth, bestowing strength and clarity. In this symbiosis of nature and ancient traditions, the unique character of our tea is born.
