Discover Gaba Shu Puer tea – an exceptional aged tea, carefully selected by Teemaailm experts specifically for the Estonian tea community. This tea offers an unforgettable and deeply satisfying taste experience.

The aroma is rich and multi-layered, presenting sweet woody notes that blend with subtle earthy and dark chocolate nuances. The prepared infusion is a deep ruby red, almost black, indicating the tea’s maturity and rich character.

The flavor profile is exceptionally smooth and rounded, without any harshness. The first infusions bring forth sweet, creamy notes reminiscent of caramel, vanilla, and dried fruits. Subsequent steeps reveal deeper, earthier tones – oak, damp forest, and a light spiciness. Gaba processing gives the tea a characteristic balanced feeling that is both calming and invigorating.

The aftertaste is long and pleasant, leaving a sweet and lingering sensation in the mouth. It is delicate and velvety, evoking a calm and meditative mood. Gaba Shu Puer tea is known for its “cha qi” or tea spirit, which offers deep relaxation and focus. It is truly an oily infusion that coats the palate with a pleasant and full-bodied texture, providing long-lasting enjoyment.

Teemaailm experts have carefully selected this batch to offer Estonian tea lovers a unique and authentic Gaba Shu Puer experience.

This legendary Gaba Shu Puer tea originates from the deep Yunnan province of China, a region considered the birthplace of tea. The highlands here, thick fogs, and fertile red soil create ideal conditions for tea bushes to grow. Ancient tea trees stretch their roots deep into the earth, drawing unique minerals that give the tea its extraordinary character. According to legend, the first tea tree grew right here, its leaves gifting health and peace to people, making Yunnan the kingdom of tea. This unique terroir and centuries-old traditions are woven into every cup, offering a journey through time and space.
