Aroma, Taste, and Visual Experience
The aroma of this tea is multi-layered, offering intense roasted notes characteristic of Wuyi rock oolongs. These are complemented by sweet fruity nuances (like ripe peaches and plums), delicate orchid floral notes, and deep mineral undertones. Each infusion creates a true rocky melody.
The taste is rich and full-bodied, coating the palate softly with an oily infusion. Sweet notes emerge, reminiscent of caramel and dark honey, intertwined with mineral freshness and a slight spiciness. The GABA processing gives the tea a special umami note and depth. The aftertaste is exceptionally long, sweet, and refreshing.
The tea leaves are dark, tightly rolled, and shiny. The color of the prepared infusion is a deep amber to reddish-brown, clear and transparent. This tea is an excellent choice for those seeking the depth of traditional Da Hong Pao, enriched with the unique properties of GABA tea.
