Flavor Profile Features

  • Rich coffee bitterness: The base of the blend, providing a deep and invigorating character.
  • Sweet pistachio nut: A delicate note that softens the bitterness, adding creaminess and a unique aftertaste.
  • Balance: An ideal equilibrium between the two dominant components, creating a rounded and memorable taste.

Versatility in Preparation

This coffee variety is ideal for various brewing methods, allowing everyone to find their favorite way to enjoy it:

  • Cezve (Turk): For obtaining the strongest and most aromatic drink.
  • French press: Unveils the full palette of flavors due to complete contact of water with ground coffee.
  • Moka pot: Delivers a medium-strength drink with a pronounced aroma.
  • Coffee machine: Ensures quick and convenient preparation of espresso or espresso-based drinks.

Origins of Coffee Culture

Although “Pistachio Cream” is a flavored coffee, the roots of the coffee drink itself trace back to the distant lands of Ethiopia, where, according to legends, the first coffee beans were discovered.

The Legend of Coffee

An interesting historical fact states that the discovery of coffee’s invigorating properties is attributed to the Ethiopian shepherd Kaldi. He noticed how his goats became unusually energetic after eating berries from an unknown bush. After trying the berries himself, Kaldi felt a surge of vigor and told the monks about it, who initially rejected the “devil’s” berries but then appreciated their ability to help them stay awake during night prayers. Thus began the spread of coffee around the world.
