Aroma and Color
The dry tea reveals characteristic earthy and forest notes of Puerh, complemented by a delicate yet distinctly discernible hint of mint. Tightly pressed dark brown leaves indicate high-quality processing. The infusion is deep reddish-brown, transparent, and with an oily texture, suggesting rich extraction.
Taste Experience and Aftertaste
The first sips offer a full-bodied and velvety texture in the mouth. The flavor palette is diverse: initially, the classic earthiness and woody notes of Puerh are felt, smoothly intertwining with refreshing mint. This is not a dominant aroma, but a delicate and harmonious addition that gives the tea a vibrant nuance. The presence of mint balances the intensity of Puerh, making each sip surprisingly light and pleasant. The aftertaste is long and pleasantly cool, leaving a fresh and clean feeling in the mouth.
